Business value
With SEPA Direct Debit, your company can collect payments in euros - either as one-time payments or as fixed payments. SEPA Direct Debit can be used to collect one-time charges and recurring payments, for example, a subscription payment, throughout the EU, Norway, Liechtenstein, Iceland, and Switzerland. The system can be used by both companies and individuals, and payment is always made in euros. It is typically cheaper to pay with SEPA Direct Debit than with debit cards.
Feature details
With Payment Management Direct Debit, you gain a great overview of all your direct debit collections in addition to the following features:
- Before a collection is processed, Payment Management Direct Debit will automatically check the cash receipt journals to ensure that a collection hasn't already been paid by the customer.
- You can set up Direct Debit to respect and include the payment discounts that your customers are eligible for.
- Collection entries can be grouped according to Sequence Type, which will lower the risk of direct debit files failing when uploading them to the bank.
