Enabling the Direct Communication Module

Before setting up your bank accounts for direct communication, you must enable the Direct Communication module in Continia Solution Management.

Prerequisites

To successfully enable the Direct Communication Module, you must meet specific requirements:

  • Payment Management Administrator rights and credentials.
  • Your company must be registered as a production company. Testing or demo environments such as test companies or sandboxes cannot be used for this purpose.
  • For the on-premises version of Business Central, ask your Payment Management partner to add the license granule "6.016.860 - Continia Payment Management Direct Communication" to your license file. For more information, see Managing Licenses.

To enable Direct Communication

To enable Direct Communication:

  1. In Business Central, select the icon Search for page or report, enter Continia Solution Management, and select the related link.

  2. In the Continia solutions overview, select Payment Management.

  3. On the action bar, select Manage > Manage Modules and follow the instructions provided in the assisted setup guide to activate the module.

    Note

    Activating additional modules in Payment Management will result in charges being added to your next invoice.
