Expense Mobile App Notifications

The automatic notifications displayed for the Expense Mobile App ensure that expense users are always updated on any important changes in document statuses.

This feature is enabled from the start if you accept the push notification permission prompt when installing the Expense Mobile App, and you need not set anything up. You can, however, always disable these notifications using the Expense App settings on your phone.

Notifications are sent for all expense documents – meaning expenses, mileage expenses, per diem expenses, and expense reports – with the amount displayed in local currency.

Note that you don't get a notification if your Expense Mobile App is in the foreground at the time of a change. In the unlikely event that the Expense Mobile App is in the foreground at the time of a status change for one or more of your expense documents, you'll get an in-app notification prompting you to synchronize with Continia Online so all changes can be viewed.
