Importing Electronic Documents in Denmark
As a customer in Denmark, you can import electronic documents into Continia Document Capture either by email (as attached files) or via the PEPPOL eDelivery Network.
Document Capture connects you directly to the PEPPOL eDelivery Network, thereby eliminating the need to sign up with any third parties for integration. Once connected, you can start receiving electronic documents from vendors in Denmark and other countries. To learn more about how to connect to the PEPPOL eDelivery Network, see Setting up the Continia Delivery Network.
To promote the general adoption of PEPPOL, the Danish authorities mandate that all public authorities must be able to receive electronic documents through the PEPPOL eDelivery Network. Document Capture supports the PEPPOL BIS 3 format, which is the latest standard.
Another active network in Denmark is NemHandel, which was introduced almost 20 years ago. This network is being replaced by PEPPOL, and NemHandel will eventually be closed down. Continia is considering future integration with NemHandel, but at the moment you must sign up with a third-party network provider if you need to send documents through NemHandel.
You can also receive and import electronic documents from vendors in other countries. Most widespread formats are supported, but not all. For a list of supported formats, see Supported Formats.
